HISTORY OF MACARONS
Macaron is a meringue-based confection made with egg whites, sugar, almonds and food coloring. It is a gluten free sandwich looking colorful cookie with delicious filling between the lawyers. It is known as the hardest confection cookie to make, but also very fun as macaron can have hundreds of different flavors.
Sometimes people confuse a Macaron with a Macaroon. They are, in fact, two different cookies.
Macaroon is a soft cookie made with shredded coconut. Not the best looking treat, but one of the easiest treats to make.

Sandra’s Macarons uses ONLY the highest quality ingredients. Twice a year we receive all of our nuts from organic farms from Turkey and Macedonia; sundry rosemary from Greece; fresh fruit from our local organic farms we use to make jams and marmalades; and quality chocolate from Belgium and Switzerland.
This year we discovered doTerra's pure essential oils. These oils are sourced from all around the world - climates where the plants, trees. fruits and herbs naturally grow. Some of the oils we use are lavender, peppermint and our famous wild orange.
In our classes we show you how to use all these high quality ingredients.
